Lost data when switching from raspberry pi3 to Cerbo gx.

Hi.

In my setup (2 x parallel multiplus II 3000, MPPT 250/100, smartshunt) I used raspberry pi3 instead of CERBO. Everything worked ok. I recently bought a CERBO GX, added it to the installation. But an unexpected error occurred while transferring data from rpi3 to cerbo gx. Data was not transferred. Now I log in to rpi3 only from LAN to remote console. rpi3 is offline on VRM portals. Cerbo works fine and detects all devices. Is it somehow possible for me to get to my old data and upload it to cerbo gx?

If you need any more detailed information, I will be happy to provide it.

In the end it was done. I repeated the procedure and now everything is ok and the data has been transferred.

@sf777 sorry, is it the old data in VRM that you can't see ?

have you "Replace the GX device of this installation" within VRM
go to settings, general... at the bottom

it should then show you the old Pi data and the new cerbo gx data

Hi. Yes, I don't see old data in cerbo. I followed the instructions exactly. But the operation failed. Please try later. So I tried later but that didn't work either.

Now my old installation is offline. I can connect to it via LAN in the home network only via the remote console.

Thanks for the help offered. Could you also delete "Alarm logs"? They no longer apply to this new installation and are therefore misleading. Will you need any of my details?

...but I still have remnants from the rpi3 and the temperature sensors, which of course are no longer functional. How do I remove them?

Unfortunately for now there is no way. It is an upcoming fix on the road map.

This is an unfortunate side effect of the current process, and will be improved (gap eliminated) in a future revision of this feature.

Hi @sf777

Yes, once you are happy the transition has successfully occurred, you can remove the temporary installation.

I am working right now on improving this process for those in the future.
