Hi
I have a 24V/3000VA Easysolar with a 150/70 regulator and a second 150/100 regulator with extra panels. 2 x UP2500 Pylontech batteries canbus connected to the Easysolar's color control.
The system works perfectly as an off grid system but I want to run it with a grid input under ESS. Every time I bring in the grid the system works fine for a few minutes then it starts to use the grid to make up any shortfall in the loads from the solar chargers. Then the grid takes over and the chargers reduce to zero watts when the battery gets full. instead of using the fully charged batteries it powers the loads from the grid.
There is an ET112 smart meter installed as a grid meter.
Have been through all the things that might cause this in ESS FAQ 10.4 and 10.9.
1. GX device is seeing the meter
2. Canbus battery is connected
3. Discharge Limit is not stopping the battery from discharging
4. The battery is full and is set to stop discharging at 20% in ESS settings
5. Have tried Australian grid code and Other grid code and have tried turning off LOM settings on each to no avail.
6. I have checked the relay test is completed ok
If I restart the VE Bus system it runs normally for a few minutes then goes back to passthru.
Oh and the switch is in the on position not charger only.
All Victron equipment is at latest firmwares
Anything else I have missed?
I am a Victron Distributor and have installed dozens of these systems with very few problems.
Any help would be appreciated
