Hi We have a site running multiple VE Can Mppt,s (earlier ones) the site was changed to auto update the CCGX in order to try and rectify another issue, and the last two firmware releases have dropped the MPPT data from the CCGX and therfore VRM.
We have reinstated 2.11 (pretty solid for off grid systems) and reinstated the display. Going forward are the new firmware releases going to support the older Ve Can models ? or is this something that needs to be rectified in the firmware ?
Hi @Energy Connections, there is no known issue with those chargers and v2.32.
We test them for compatibility on every release , and after your message yesterday we checked it again. Shows up fine.
A few things to check:
- did you select the right canbus profile in settings -> services?
- update those solar charger firmware: 1) update back to v2.32; and then on vrm remote firmware update command.

Yes makes sense, new firmware opens up options for different CAN bus speeds simply a matter of selecting correct one.
