Victron connect app display

OK I have to do this again since it didn't work the first time. I apologized for not being able to embed the pictures and I stumped my dealer with this one.


Alright so on the multiplus, it's a 3kva 12v 120vx2 version, from an RV, I want a different version but I can't just throw this one away so this is the one I have. It's in a cabin that's off the grid, and since it's a bit of a drive I'm typically there only on the weekends. When I plug into the generator I can confirm that there is 240v between L1 and L2, and 120v L1 to N and L2 to N. I know the power is there, and I'll show you that that in a second, but this is what I see. on AC input 2 it's always 0.

OK so nothing on L2, but once I connect to the MP with the connect app on my PC I see this:

And everything does work in the cabin but the app just doesn't seem to 'see' it, and then I see this value on the android app every couple of seconds. Obviously there isn't 30kw going out on AC input 2.

The app is the most recent version. There is an update that I could do on the PC, but I'm not going to. This update does not show up in the android version.

The apps are up to date, I've power cycled everything several times. I've turned off dynamic current, ups mode, and just about everything else I could to see if this problem follows and it does.

Make sure the FW is up to date on all components -in particular the MP-II 2x120- and also that your VictronConnect is up to date.

Some of the MP-II 2x120s had issues reporting the L2 information out over VE.Bus properly; this has been long resolved by FW updates between the MP-II itself (should be running 502 or better by now) and VictronConnect.

It's on 502. I stated that it was up to date and that an update, 506, is available on the PC version of connect, but not on the android version.

A MultiPlus can only be updated with a MK3 interface so just do the update from the PC.

The first thing to do if you have issues is to update everything to the latest version.

It is the latest version. I've said it twice now. It's on 502. It told me I'm not allowed to go to 506. Unless you work for Victron I won't push 506 to it.
