Is it possible to reset a Quattro 48/5000 to be 24/5000

I have a Quattro 48/5000 lying around and was wondering if it was possible to reset it somehow to be 24/5000 or is this a HW change internally.

No, it can't be done. The main transformer is different to start with...

Agreed, there is different hardware in 24V and 48V units. It's not configurable in software.
