did victron limit bluetooth signal with newer mppts ?

I have 2 mppts connected to same location


MPPT 150/100 is from 2020MPPT 100/50 is brand new 2023


2023 model's bluetooth signal is too weak sometimes having problems connecting even inside the boat. the other one is great and strong. what could be the reason ? Was there a change from product side with newer mppt models ?

I cant help you, but I have same issue- New MPPT (Aug 2023) and I cant be further that about 8 feet away from it to receive BT. Its just mounted in a wood cabinet. I have a Smart BVM 712 and a VE Bus Smart Dongle hooked to the Inv/Charger. They work pretty much anywhere on my boat.

This is a common issue, from what Ive read. Woefully inadequate.

my other victron devices except this one also works pretty much anywhere on the boat.that's why i was wondering if different chip ? antentta ? or limited bluetooth signal on newer devices..
