Is it possible to extend voltage sense wire for BMV-712?

Hi,

I want to make use of the BMV-712 function to measure voltage of a 2nd battery. Somehow the included cable is way too short. Is I possible to extend this cable for about 3 meters?

Extending that vSense wire is fine, just be sure -if you're using a new wire- to use proper high-strand DC wire, fuse it at the battery, and keep in mind that extending the wire by that much will result in higher voltage drop over the circuit which means that the BMV's voltage display of the second battery will be lower than actual.
