ESS with BatteryLife and AC-Ignore

Hello,

a question, if the system is set up to ignore the AC-in when SOC > 25%, what happens when the Active SOC limit (BatteryLife) is recalculated to 30%?
will the system drain the battery further to 25% (since its basically grid-lost situation) until the relay is closed again, or does the ESS override the AC-Ignore to protect the battery??

I would love to set it up in Node-Red instead of the assistant to ignore the grid, to be able to follow the ActiveSOC Limit, but that's too much for me apparently :-D

thanx

@joker_sk

AC ignore overrides the ESS. the two are not designed to work together.

So even if battery life increases AC ignore will stick to the 25%.

You could always have the ac ignore higher then let it ESS a bit off grid. set point 0W.

Set AC ignore to 35%/40% the min set that way if battery life raises it will allows further discharge to the battery life level, but you still work the AC ignore.
