I have a 100V 50-amp MPPT Solar Charge Controller intended for a 24V battery systems, along with a 1000W solar panel. When I turn the MPPT controller off (disconnect from the batter) and then on, it produces a 30V output, which causes the Battery Management System (BMS) to trip. I verified this behavior through testing then output on the MPPT. To resolve this issue, I found that turning off the power to the battery, then turning it back on, lets the BMS trip. Afterward, I can make any setting changes through the Victron app to fix it.
Is there a problem with the unit?
