Which type of usb cable is attached to the mk3

The usb cable that plugs into the mk3 has failed. It is possible to make intermittent contact by wiggling it about so its clearly not the mk3 itself.

Can anyone advise what thpe of usb plug the small plug is.

The USB cable is hardwired to the MK3.

Try to open the MK3 and check for loose connections.

It's a USB Type A connector.

I meant the PC end.

You might be able to identify it from this article

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/USB

Commonest small connectors were the mini B and micro B. Known today as mini and micro.
