As you probably know even that has been done earlier there is several risks you need to take in account. MPPT is not designed to protect itself in case of failure when input current exceeds specs. So you need to create fusing and disconnect devices at high voltage side.
One difference to other VE MPPTs is that RS have ground fault detection/leak current detection. Also in your car have these so you need to pass all these without triggering either of safety mechanisms in car or RS. Just want to mention that don't purchase equipment before making sure you have solution at least for these technical questions.
Whilst I haven't done this with the RS450, it is possible to do this with the other MPPT controllers. I don't see why you should not be able to set the current limit using Victron connect. However, the setting is for the battery (output) current NOT the PV (input) current.

i use an mppt 150/100 for this purpose, initially with fixed values and the built-in relay to prevent deep discharge, but now with an own control-software.
theoretically it should also work with the rs 450/100 or 200, since it probably has the same setting options and maybe also a relay with which you can implement undervoltage protection.
but always think about your safety and that means a fuse in the input and one in the output and for the battery in any case a deep discharge protection if you want to have fun with it for a long time.
as far as the connection of the high-voltage battery is concerned, do NOT connect it directly to the charge controller under any circumstances, an inrush current limiter must be installed, otherwise there will be very high inrush currents in the voltage and the capacitors in the mppt don't like that.
and that doesn't do anyone any good.
