Purchasing a 2010 Multiplus - anything to be aware of?

I'm looking to purchase a Multiplus 12v 3000w 230v that was new around 2010. It's been installed and operational in a cabin since then, most likely with a battery bank and a solar panel.
Any issues to look out for? What about firmware upgrade compatibility?

This is now a 9 year old inverter, so well outside warranty.

Try and do a load test on it before purchase to see how it performs.

Perform a thorough visual inspection, looking for signs of corrosion (brown or green powder or crystals).

As an anecdote, I saw a photo last month of a 40 year old Victron inverter.

The seller was impatient and wouldn't wait for me to come see it. It was listed at half price of a new Multiplus. Instead I got hold of a 2 year old Quattro that is just back from a checkup at Victron, for just 400 euros more :).
