Switching between in and out battery on Orion-TR Smart 12/30

Orion-Tr Smart 12/30. 140 Ah Lead in housebatteri charged from boat start battery/alternator, 100Ah LiFePo out on Orion isolated. This would be the usual scenario under way, to have the alternator/housebattery charging the LiFe via Orion

Problem: Is there a practical way to change connection to LiFe in and housebattery out, without having to unscrew and moving 4 leads( VictronConnect or use hardwired switch or separate leads from LiFe to housebattery with a switch set to off when alternator running ?) ?

Aim is to charge/parallel couple housebattery with the LiFe to have more capacity for fridge and other appliances, when alternator not running or no shorepower

Yes, you can. But ... Your Orion is programmed to charge the LiFePO4 battery and probably detect "engine running / shutdown". When you reverse direction with a switch, then you must reprogram the charge settings and change how/when the Orion turns on / off.

It might be simpler to install a 2nd Orion, with the correct programming.

Appreciate answer. Reckon I will just charge the LiFe via the Orion in usual setup while motor running. With Orion shut down and at anchor then just clip on extra +/- leads from LiFe to house lead battery to have the extra capacity.

Installing an extra Orion for reverse charging might be an option but not for my pocket at the moment :)
