Lynx Distributor Cover Screws

I stripped the head of a cover screw for the Lynx Distributor. Where can I find a replacement?

If it is a standard metal screw, then a similar item should be available from your local hardware store.

so can you add a picture? These are recessed in the Victron pictures, so no detail available...

I'm in the same boat. Did you ever get this figured out? I'm not sure how to remove the screws to take to the hardware store.

Going by your measured dimensions these are M4 x 16mm cross head captive screws. The length you measured is 17.4mm, but the screw has a small unthreaded length on the end so it will be 16mm to the end of the thread, the bit on the end makes finding the hole easier. You do not actually need the captive screw, you could open out the hole in the plastic cover to 4mm and use a normal M4 x 16mm machine screw.

I just ordered 6 of these. The Torx head wont strip out so easy. And you can file the tip to match the original.
