Ess dumping battery charge to grid

Hi,

Can somebody tell me why suddenly my battery charge has been dumbt into the grid? Yesterday evening my battery was being discharged into the grid and it kept on doing this until battery life stept in. This is not what i bought the system for...my house should be running on that battery power during the night but now in 3 hours the battery was discharged to 50% and the rest of the night the house was run on grid power. Why did it start doing this?

I run 2x multiplus 2 48 5000, cerbo GX and a mppt rs

More info needed - settings ect. Presume you have grid feed in disabled.

Why did you limited the inverter power to 1000W?

Do you get payed to feed in excess DC coupled PV? If not start by turning it off. Obviously this shouldn't make any difference to night time export.

I do get payed still, but it is a lot less than what i have to pay to take energie from the grid so I would prefer the battery not dumping it's power to the grid...I can not go off-grid yet because I do not have enough battery capacity yet...I am saving up to buy more battery's...until then I would like my system not sponsering the grid. I see more people with the same sort of problem so I guess the assistent needs an upgrade or something?

What exactly do you mean by "suddenly"?

Is this a new system?

It worked differently before?

Are you sure that power was exported to the grid?

What type of battery (lead-acid or LiFePO4)?

Yes, it is a new system. The system used it's battery power the first week to power the house, now it just dumps everything into the grid in 2 hours time as soon as there is almost no more solar power coming in. As long as there is solar coming in the battery stays charged but in the evening the battery starts discharging in to the grid... Battery is lifepo4

What changed? Firmware updated automatically on GX? What energy meters are you using and are they installed correctly?

Not using any energie meters...the grid connection goes through the multiplus first before going to the breaker box.

You need to install a energy meter so it can compensate for what you consume in power.
