New 2nd controller

I recently added a 2nd controller.. it's a 150\45. I changed the name of it in the app.. but the VRM shows

MPPT-280 0.03 V 0.00 A 0 W
SmartSolar 150\100 12.61 V 0.00 A 0 W


Is it possible the edit the 280 out of there..? Maybe delete it and create a new installation with it..?

Not sure why you can't rename again.

But if it just forces the 280, try changing the name to something else (like Fred), get that saved, them change the name to what you want it to be.

Might be VRM picking up the instance number because you start with MPPT.

you can also rename it on the cerbo gx - by selecting the mppt under settings

then select device and then change the name

Yep.. VRM instance 280 Device - name.
