Hi,
I have the described test setup in a house (non-mobile, no AC in, single phase). The test button at the RCD works. However, when I make a link at the socket between PE and N, the RCD does not trip. Is this, because it is an IT circuit rather than an TT one?
Furthermore, when the 16 amp fuse is disabled, the socket measures 4 volt (depending on the distance to the multiplus inverter. Is this due to induction? Can this be the problem?
Any help would be appreciated.
It's only one socket without any loads connected to the circuit?
If yes, the RCD will not trip because there is no "illegal" current flow.
In a standalone system the multiplus will connect the neutral and earth together. Linking neutral and earth at the socket without any load in the system can not result in any current flow.

Ground relay (see appendix B)
With this relay, the neutral conductor of the AC output is grounded to the chassis when the back feed safety relays are open.
This ensures the correct operation of earth leakage circuit breakers in the output.
