Can one add a regulator and panel to a Victron MultiPlus Compact 12/800/35?

An existing setup with Multiplus and battery. Only mains to charge the battery. Can one feasibly add a regulator and panel to charge the battery in parallel with the existing set-up?

@clive87 sure why not.

You will need to make sure that the total charge current from both chargers does not exceed your batteries maximum charge current.

Thank you. So if max charge current is 100A at 14.4 volt we have approx 1400 watts load.

The Victron charges at about 400 (35A x 12) so panel output of no more than say 700 watt to be safe. Two panels of 350 watts each with a regulator to match? Not sure if my calc is right?

Sorry it is the BATTERY that specifies max charge current of 100A at 14.4 volt
