Replace defective Multiplus II - howto

One of my mulitplus got defective.

Regarding the simple update functionality in the VRM:
Is there any special new (easy) procedure to swap a defective one?

only for the cerbo/gx device, the multiplus will be added automatically and you delet the old one, yes the old history would be lost
