Our canal boats typically can have up to 4 battery banks.
V1 Engine Battery 12 or 24V
V2 Bow Thruster Batteries 12 or 24V
V3 Service Batteries 24V
V4 Service Batteries 12V
To monitor these we have a mixture of Victron shunt and Data Logger (communicating via MQTT)
All this works fine except the parameter naming on the VRM graphing can get very confusing as the Graph parameter identifiers use the Victron Connect Designations rather than the Custom Names.
On the Dashboard everything is pretty good except for Shunt Naming - show just Voltage (not custom name - In this case V3 Service Shunt)
However on the Graphs - despite using Custom Name, Victron VRM still shows Battery Voltage V, Starter Battery Voltage V
As a work round we title the graphs with the correct designations eg V1 Engine, V2 Bow, V3 Service / V4 Service in the Graph Title
eg here V1 Engine - Starter battery voltage V should have renamed to V2 Bow
