Charge configuration with MPPT 75/15 and lead battery (Hankook DC24MF 80Ah)

Hello,

I try to put good settings for my MPPT 75/15 with my lead batteries (model: Hankook DC24MF 80Ah). I have two battery in serie to have 24V.

Unfortunatelly, I found no details about my battery.

And I'm a bit lost, I found plenty of different settings on the Web and I can't figure out what is the good answer.

Could someone help me please ?

For the moment I have put those values:

Charging current: 15A

Absorption: 30V

Float: 28V

Equalize: 31V

Temperature: -32.40mV/C°

Thanks in advance

From what I see you would need to change values to

Absorption: 28,8V
Float: 27,6V
Equalize: 30,6V

@LuDog71

with the Equalizing Voltage you must be careful, because not all Acid batteries want it that high. SOPzS or PzS are fine with 2,55V/cell, but 12V batteries might want only 29,4V.

Since the manufacturer give not any data out, you should try 29,4V first and see how they are bubbling and if necessary increase slowly.

Good luck and have fun.
