When I sell Victron panels people are starting to ask what is Mono crystalline solar panels cell conversion efficiency.
The conversion efficiency is commonly stated on the solar panel manufacturer's data sheet.
Generally it's more important when space is at a premium and every last % counts (such as mobile installs). Otherwise the power output of the total array is the main metric (vs cost).
Solar panels are typically rated at 1000W/m2, so you could even calculate it yourself from the PV max output (in W) / PV surface area (in m2).
Mono solar panels generally have a few % bettee conversion efficiency than poly panels and are also meant to be better in low light conditions.
