Six days ago all communications was lost. The boat is i Spain, and I am in Stockholm. I have heard from people at the harbour that the boat is not sunk nor burned. Until loosing communications, the voltage was stable and the solar toppad up a few mAh every day. What might have happened? Is ther a malfunction in the cellular network (vodafone) in southern Spain?
I had something similar happen a couple of days ago.
Globballink 520 stopped working on 21 March 05.40u. AM.
I checked at the cabin and no led were blinking.
measured 12.8V after fuse ...
I'm returning the unit for inspection this week...
Before returning the unit I gave it one more try and tested it with another power supply. Surprise! It worked perfectly. So I am both pleased (though somewhat ashamed also) to declare the Globallink resurrected. Very nice little bugger, this GL520!
