When installing a system with 16.4kw peak solar power system and 42kw of Pylontech batteries I got a Church Lightning Conductor contractor to install a a new earth electrode 8 metres from all undergound services 10m deep with a measured resistance of 2.49 Ohms and bonded everything in the house to that TT circuit and disconnected PME. An NICEIC electrician has since been employed to replace the 33 year old CU with Eaton cabinet and RCBO's and provide surge protection. He separated all the solar kit and batteries so that they remain on the new Earth Electrode but transfered the house earthing back to PME. The two earths are linked via the Multiplus neutral surely?
Would anyone here agree that I would be wrong in reverting to a TT system by removing the PME bonding wire. I can't know the quality of the grid earth and in part my supply in a rural area is overhead.
