Victron MPPT100/20 not charging battery bank

Greetings.

I have a small system consisting of the following components:

- Victron 100/20 MPPT (FW V1.61)

- VictronSmart Shunt

- 12V Battery bank with 4 x 100Ah LiFePO4 batteries

- 380W PV Panel

- All connected via Victron Lynx Distributor and battery isolator

My current findings:

- Open Circuit voltage on PV : 39.5V (Measured at the connection point and at the controller)

- Solar voltage on MPPT SmartConnect correlates to measurement.

- Battery absorption Voltage set to 14.4V as per manufacturer.

- Voltage measured on battery terminals : 13.1V

- Voltage measured on the Batt. terminals @ MPPT : 13.1V

- Voltage reading on SmartShunt app : 13.1V

- Battery Voltage reading on MPPT SmartConnect App : 14.39V

- All voltage readings were taken with the PV connected.

- The controller stays in absorption mode, with 0.0A applied to charging.

My questions:

1) Could my battery bank size be too much for the MPPT charge controller?

2) Why the voltage difference between the terminals and the app? Am I perhaps missing a reference GND?

It thus appears that there is no output voltage on the charge controller and I am measuring the battery voltage at that terminal. Typing this, I have not checked for a fuse on the controller (dumb I know), but is it possible that the output on the controller would be fuse protected?

It is most probable that the fuse underneath the mppt is blown.

Yank it out and check.

Double check the polarity of the wiring between the batt and mppt.

Hi,

Check the fuse. It may be blown.
