BMV-712 Unable to manually set SOC

I took my battery offline to make some system modifications. I screenshotted the status prior so that I could reset to the correct SOC manually when I restarted things. I now find that I am unable to do that, that field, "State of Charge" Manually set the current soc, is not an editable field. When I click on it nothing happens. Am I misunderstanding the use of this maybe?

Are you using Victron Connect for this?

If so which version.

Is the software up to date on the BMV?

Try to synchronize it to 100% first.

I also had this issue a few days ago.

Me too. Maybe it should be reported as a bug.

Same issue on a Lynx Smart BMS connected via a Cerbo GX

My take is that this is only available if you connect with VRM directly over Bluetooth or Wifi. The strange thing is than when using the Victron Connect app the Lynx BMS does not show up when on "Local". I have to select VRM, and there the "State of charge is not editable"
