VE.Connect setting

I am curious about a setting I have seen a screenshoot of from a VE.Connect session on a BMV-712.

It is the setting I have highlighted below called "Battery SOC on Reset"

I have only ever see the "battery starts synchronised" setting there with an off/off toggle, as per the screen shot below:

In what version of VE.Connect does the "Battery SOC on Reset" appear? It looks a much more flexible option as it adds a choice of "Keep SOC".

Thanks!

@Wildebus

Definitely happy about the addition, but in the release it seems it is only for the 712 and Smart Shunt.

In futture you can find the release notes here.

Absolutely. When installing a Monitor, setting the toggle to off was always on the tick list of things to do. When I just updated the '712s, first thing I just did was to set to "Keep SOC". But why only on the 712 and Smartshunt? Don't get the connection to Bluetooth (if you know what I mean :) )

I have a partial answer to my own question....

I just connected to my BMV-712s via Bluetooth (I usually connect via VRM) and after it did a Bluetooth update, I saw the setting change to the "Battery SOC on Reset" entry and then when i connected via VRM, I had that setting.

However, on my BMV-700s, which I cannot connect via bluetooth of course, I still don't have that option, just the original one. Will that "Battery SOC on Reset" setting be rolled out to BMVs without Bluetooth sometime? I can't see the relevance of it being linked to Bluetooth-enabled monitors only?
