Multiplus 12/1200/70 Overload

Hi. I've watched the Overload Webinar, but I still have some questions.
In the video he states that the multiplus can handle a 30% overload for 30 min. So, for a 12/1600 that is 2080VA or 1700W at 25 degrees?

Yes that is correct, if it is installed with a good battery and set of DC cables. Tbis is where people usually shortcut.

However the mutliplus will get hot and usually about the 30 minute mark will shut down on temperature.
