Extension cord for MK3-USB interface from basement to top floor office

Now that we know the MK3-USB interface cannot be connected to a network switch. Question is can an extension cord be attached to the MK3-USB interface ?

Attached is what I am trying to achieve - Will both extension cords work ?

Up to 8 attachments (including images) can be used with a maximum of 190.8 MiB each and 286.6 MiB total.

Not sure why you want to do this. The few configuration options that the interface gives that aren't available elsewhere are usually set up at installation and rarely if ever changed.

Would like to see the readout of the Multiplus II now as I am awaiting installation of the Fronius in the new year and delaying investment until then in a Cerbo GX.

The fronius won’t work properly without the cerbo. You’re just making work for yourself.
