Battery monitoring

I have connected Felicity LiFePo4 battery to Cerbo GX using CAN bus. But it is not visible. How to add that to the system. CAN H, CAN L and Ground is properly connected to CAN bus BMS in Cerbo GX.

That isn’t on the supported battery list, sorry to say you need to go back to the battery supplier, or whoever told you it would work, to help you.

You can read through the setup guides for supported batteries, they have some generic tips about cable types, termination and baud rates which may also help.

Just because a battery has a CAN port, doesn’t mean it will work.

Please share documentation for the battery or BMS that you used to make sure the CANbus communication and cable was correct?

Please find above is the battery user manual. I have used pin 7&8 for CAN Bus with the common ground to connect the battery to Cerbo GX. (CAN H to CAN H and CAN L to CAN L with common ground)

Cable is tested and works well.

Please check the Victron Pylontech guide as mentioned by @nickdb .

You'll see in there that specific cables are needed and thus may be needed for your batteries. But you're going to have to find out from the battery supplier which is needed.
