Are there existing tools on the Venus OS to view the log files for a particular service? For example, if one is logging to external storage, what would be the easiest way of retrieving and viewing those records?

How does one access the logger on Venus OS?
You can view the log file for a particular service using the more command from the command prompt. For example to view the log file for the dbus-digitalinputs service use:
more /var/log/dbus-digitalinputs/current
