12 x Pylontech US3000C

Heya,

I understood from different answers here that one can connect 12 x Pylontech US3000C without using a LV-Hub. Does anyone has a schema on how to do it? Or even better pictures with a system with 12 batteries (or more) without LV-Hub.

Thank you

Up to 16x US3000C modules can be connected in one battery group without an LV-HUB.
Arrange your DC cabling according to how much current your installation will use or charge.
Consult the US3000C manuals for more details regarding the wiring specific to your particular installation.

Thank you very much. Just to make sure I understand correctly. Will they be two packs of 8 or all 16 in one pack but with multiple positive and negatives tight to the busbar ?

Here is one of my pylontech systems

Here there is only 8 US3000, but the logic is the same if you add more.

You can see two RJ45 sockets on the side of the racks, under the power connectors : one is for the CAN link to the GX device, the other one for the last battery "link port 1" to the "link port 0" of the first one on the next rack.

@Yann That a nice way to do it.

This is my variation using a 1U feed through panel. You could place more than one feed through panel or fir more Radsok connectors on the one feed through panel to increase the current carrying capacity if needed. It works rather well.

@WKirby

Nice setup !

There is no problem with batteries touching each other ? I thought there's a need for air circulation between each one. I'm pretty sure I read this somewhere on pylontech's documentation.

I have 6 of these in a 42HE open Rack, but put them in tight.

Temps between modules differ 2-3 degC when in Use.

...as the standard Pylontech Rack comes in 24HE, named to be suitable for 12xUS2000C or 8xUS3000C I made that mistake (24HE = 8x3HE US3000C).

I will soon re-arrange the units to leave some more room. During Winter, they are still safe, even generate a better climate to reach the standard 25degC.

@WKirby

WoW, awesome setup!

What is the thing on top which gets all the earthing, can and power in it?

I just added few more batteries to my setup but because in the rack I can't fit more than 8 x US3000C I have two outside of the rack but seems like I can't add them to the other 8 because of too short of the plus/minus cable and same for comms. Any idea?
