MPPT Firmware Downgrade

Hello, is it possible to downgrade MPPT firmware to the previously installed version if the new one is suspected of causing issues and a process of elimination is to be used to diagnose the fault?

I’m sure the MPPT’s are a way one pony though, shows an error on attempts to install legacy firmware…..

In most cases yes, you can download the older fw from the victron professional site, registration is required example below. url is also shown

Hello, i can only see the one listed below in the pic, which is what I already have installed. It's the A063 version. Not sure where to get the legacy one from. 1667295918010.png

Hi Guys.

New to this Forum. Writing because I have an issue with my

MPPT 100/30 SmartSolar with Bluetooth (mounted in my van with 3 parallel 130W panels).

I am using an old Android 5 Sony Xperia Z1 Compact, BT 4.0 running VictronConnect on it.

Device came with Firmware v1.45, no issues with any functions and BT Communication with smartphone above (my Van controller) and also a Samsung S8 (my regular smartphone). All was running as expected.

Since
a) an upgrade to Firmware v1.61 and
b) connecting another, newer S24 Smartphone (successor of S8 used bevor) to it

the BT connection is often and quite regularly lost with the Xperia and any of the other BT smart phone/VictronConnect.

The only thing that helps, is power-resetting the MPPT, which sucks.
After the Power reset BT Connections work fine - for a certain time.
Usually until I have a Battery undervoltage disconnect, that happens quite often, when the van is parked over winter and no solar comes in...

All in All I like to revert back to the older Firmwar but I cannot download it anywhere (the page above is not available anymore), neither downgrade it over the App...

Old Android will have issues. Only the last 4 versions are supported and tested, so you need to use semi-current devices. Older firmware is still on the professional site, just not all the old versions.
