I live on a boat with a 1,680 amp LifePO4 battery bank (12 Volt).
I have a 5kw generator and 1000 watts of solar (3x Victron SmartSolar 100/30) for charging. I have an older Magnum charger connected but it does not have a lithium profile.
I have recently purchased one Multiplus II charger/inverter. It will be installed in the next few weeks. According to the literature, the max recommended size of the bank it will charge is 1,200 amps.
My questions are:
1. Should I consider 2 Multiplus II chargers?
2. Can I continue to use the Magnum or should I remove it?
3. What wire sizes should I be looking at given a run of less than 5 feet between the charge sources (shore power, generator and solar chargers) and the Multiplus II?
