VRM: How to get rid of "AC Loads" on input?

Hi All

My VRM is showing an "AC Loads" on the input to my Quattro.

What is this?

The Touch GX / remote console show the smae thing:

There is an ET112 on the grid connection, but there are no loads connected between the grid connection and the Quattro.

I'm guessing this is some kind of calculated value based on what the Quattro thinks the input is, and the value measured by the ET112 - is that right?

Is it possible to remove this "AC Loads" from the displays?

In addition, is it possible to rename the other tiles?

Many thanks

Kind regards

John

Hi Nick

Under ESS I see:

This is on 2.91 Large

Any further pointer as to where to find this option?

Many thanks

Thanks Nick... but...

Nope - that turns off display of the inverter outputs!

The "AC Loads" on the input side is still showing!

Any other ideas?

I don't see this tile on other peoples posts of their systems.

Kind regards

John

hmm. Under settings energy meters, what role have you selected for the meter?

@johnparVIC

You see the "AC loads" on the inverter input because you have external power meter on the grid input. The "Ac loads" value is calculated.

If one uses inverter to measure grid values, the "AC loads" is not shown.

Hi,

In ESS i switched Grid Metering from External meter to Multiplus. (Quattro in your case)
This may be done if the whole house is connected to the Multiplusses/Quattros and disables the normal loads

Thanks both

So, my guess was right, it's the difference between the ET112 and the Quattro's idea of what the grid connection is doing.

In my case, that is not interesting at the moment as I don't have any actual AC Loads on the input side.

It would be great if it was possible to simply disable showing the "AC Loads" tile. Does anyone know if this would be possible with GUI Mods?

Kind regards

John

@johnparVIC

I asked that question some time ago and was told that it is not possible.

It should be possible as it is with DC loads.

In the system setup there is a question "Has DC system" and if you do not select it the "DC load" are not included in VRM.

Why not add a question "Has AC loads"?
