Mulitplus w/VE.Bus Smart dongle and DMC precedence

Hello, after reading through the forum, I understand that I CAN use the Smart Dongle with the Digital Multi Control but only one will be able to control the on/off - current settings of my MultiPlus 12/2000/80.

This is perfect for me since I only need the temp sensing / voltage monitoring of the Smart Dongle.


My question is: Is there an order in which I should connect them or perhaps DIP switch / port settings that will ensure the DMC maintains the on/off functionality?

As far as I am aware the DMC will always be the one that works
