Bluetooth live data question

I notice live data advertisement has been added to the smartsolar firmware , is this the same as the GATT protocol or is this a closed data advertisement

It is a closed data advertisement not to be confused with the GATT protocol.

That’s unfortunate , seems like Victron is following a very confused strategy regarding GATT as surely this will also appear in the mppt controllers etc.
