Hi,
I have the idea to super size an offgird system and require some technical feedback if this has been tested yet. The idea is:
- create a 3 phase system with 12x 15kVA Quattro
- Take the above created network and assume this to be a grid/generator and connect it to the input of another 3 phase cluster consisting of 12x 15kVA Quattro.
- Each cluster would have its own battery bank installed and charged by a combination of AC and DC coupling.
Theoretically this would allow for maximum 3 phase power of 360kVA, but a few concerns are present:
- Can each of the output of each of the inverters in cluster 1 be connected to the input of the inverter of cluster 2 without the use of a common 3 phase bus (with individual protection)?
- Can all 24 inverter be connected to a Cerbo GX device and power flow indicated correctly
- Can 2 independent battery banks (lithium each with own BMS) be connected to the Cerbo GX device?
- Can Cerbo GX devices be cascaded in a master/slave configuration where the master will act as the VRM portal interface?
Should the above work, I presume it would also work for split phase
Thanks for your feedback
Erik
