Dynamic cut off – Quattro

Hello,

Let’s say we have a 48V off-grid system with MPPT solar charger, Quattro, BMV-702 battery monitor, OPzS batteries and CCGX.

I have a question regarding a dynamic battery cut off setting for Quattro.

I have seen this option only with ESS assistant. But what about the true off-grid system, how would it be possible to set a dynamic cut off voltage to protect the batteries from being completely discharged? As we all know, the fixed cut of voltages are not reliable, due to voltage drops because of the load.

Another option would be using the “shut-down on SOC”, which was recently added in the VE Configure. But this feature takes data from Quattro’s built in battery monitor, which is not reliable, if the system also consists of a MPPT solar charger. Or does Quatro’s battery monitor also receive this data from CCGX, there the BMV is set as system’s default battery monitor?

Many thanks and kind regards,

Peter
