I have a problem with an installation consisting of a MultiPlus 24/5000/120-100, three BlueSolar MPPT chargers, a Color Control GX and a OPzV-600 battery bank. The MultiPlus is setup with ESS.
During the last weeks at some point when the load increases to approx. 2800 Watt, the MultiPlus inverter is switching rapidly between "Float" and "Passthru". Normally the MultiPlus inverter should be able to handle the load, according to the specifications.
The problem is that when it is switching to "Passthru", the smartmeter of the electricity supplier will cutoff the supply because the load is higher than what is in the contract. The MultiPlus will switch to "Inverting" until the smartmeter is reset. This is not what you want when you have a Multiplus with solar panels and batteries.
It may be that the high temperature at the moment in Spain (35 degrees) has impact on what the Multiplus can handle. But according to the Multiplus specs, it should be able to handle a load of 3000 Watt with a temperature of 65 degrees.
It can also be related to an airconditioning system that is using high power during startup, according to the specs a maximum of 2400 Watt.
Has anyone seen a similar behaviour and know what the problem can be?
Attached are two pictures of the advanced view during the period that the problem occurs.
