Is there a setting that I could change using the MK#-USB to put generator into float if I am running it to charge my battery bank and forget it is on?

It is the Honda EU7000IS. It is an inverted generator AC, specs below if needed.
If you are connecting the generator via AC to some charger, it’s the charger that would handle the battery charging profile. And that should happen automatically.
I have the Victron Quattro that has the built in charger. I am thinking/hoping there should be a setting that I could change with the MK3.
There are many setting you can/should change according to your battery specifications.

Your path is generator to AC in on the quattro. The quattro controls the battery charging, hence the previous answers. In case it's not clear, once the battery is charged the quattro will switch to float mode, providing the battery protection you are asking about.
