MPPT For jinko 400w 49.8v (Voc) solar panel

Hey all about to do a trip round Australia:

Currently have 4x100ah 12v batteries connected in parallel in car and camper that I want to keep topped up. Already have a dcdc charger and battery charger but found wasn't enough on my last leg. Just bought a residential jinko solar panel and wondering what would be the best mppt for this size and is a victron mppt going to step down the voltage efficiently ? I'm guessing I'm gonna need 150/35?

Cheers,

Jordan.

Plug your figures into the Victron online MPPT calculator.

A 100-50 would probably be enough, 2 parallel panels array.

A 150-60 might be a bit overkill, but has extra features.

For a 12v 400ah battery.

@Jordylion

If you only have one panel and are not planning to add more; then something on the 30A charging range will be fine. So 100/30 will do as 400W ÷ 12v is 33A.

The 49.8VOC is way under the 100v hard limit with one panel.
