MPPT RS 450/100 off during sunny day, error code 27 during power up

I've 3 MPPT RS 450/100 which I installed 2 weeks ago. One of them had a problem during firmware update using Victron Connect and Bluetooth. Further updates in Victron Connect weren't possible because the device always reported firmware up2date (1.09).

But after startup of the Cerbo GX this device reported an error on the MPPT RS, error code 117, incompatible firmware error. Then I was able to update the firmware again and this time successfully, it seems.


And this device stopped working, produced no energy today. It was off most of the time.

In the evening I switched off the device. After powering it up again the Cerbo GX reported an error 27, Charger short circuit until I heared a clicking in the MPPT RS device.

Is the device faulty, or any suggestions what to do?

Here is the same problem.
After the FW update to V1.09 the MPPT 450/100 the error 27 shows up.
This always happens during low load conditions in the morning or evening. (See time)

Victron please fix the firmware.

Even with firmware v1.10 the problem persists.

How are the PV panels connected in both cases?
Because if you had some parallel setup per string and the (double, triple,...) short circuit currents of the PV modules exceed the MPPT specification you could see this error.

No parallel strings.
String module short current (10,8A < 18A) is below max. rating of the MPPT.

Well, I experience this error too maybe once every 4-5 weeks, also under low light conditions. Device operating well otherwise.

This happened with 1.10, I just updated to 1.11, we'll see if the frequency of these #27 errors increases or decreases.

I have the same problem with my RS 450/100, with firmware 1.10. In the morning, in very low light conditions (200W or so total input), I get the charger short circuit #27 error. Doesn't happen every morning, but several times a week. Firmware bug, or a real issue?

Here's another example of what looks like an incorrect datapoint? How can the 450/100 be in both bulk and off state at the same time? Look at the two datapoints around 14:00. If it is just a logging glitch that is one thing. But if this reset the absorption timer, for example, back to zero, that would not be good for my batteries. Anyone any idea?
