MPPT 150/45 : panels in 2p 3s or 3p 2s configuration

Hi,
According to the MPPT calculator and the specs of my 6 identical panels (and tilted identical) I ordered a 150/45 for my 48v system. VOC is 49.65V and both 2p3s and 3p2s are possible.
However which configuration gives the best performance? There are no shadow issues.

You forgot to mention your panels, and your location.

Cant do much without proper information.

With. Voc of 49v this rules out 3s. You cannot exceed 150v - and in cold temps those panels will. Imho, get different panels with lower Voc and run 3s

@Bert Van Eyken

As a general rule, I follow, is better to have higher voltage than current.

Therefore I would go with 3s2p.

But are you getting this ok for both configurations from Victron calculator?

BUT you are going to exceed the 150 volt max , So it as got to be 2s3p .

Which also as a current maximum too on the PV side .

This is why I asked if the OK for both configurations are coming from Victron calculator.

We do not know much about the location of this installation.

What if this is in central Africa with daytime temperatures above 30C?
