Inverter Phoenix12/3000 smart

Hi Can anyone tell me if I can use the Pylon Us3000c 48v lithium battery, with my 12v/3000w phoenix smart inverter. Could I use a 48v dc-12v dc converter to lower the voltage of the battery before it goes into the inverter and would all the systems work together. I know the batteries can be used with the 48v inverter. Any advice would be helpful thank you

No. As the amp output will not be high enough to run loads. It would be for a smaller inverter.

If I recall the 48/12 is like a 30 or 40Amp output? That is 12x30A = 360W.

2400W at 12v is 200Amps. So your battery or dc connection needs to be able to supply that.

Watts = volts x Amps

Amps = watts ÷ volts
