I'm running a 150/35 smartsolar. Was wondering if there is a budget or decent alternative to using my computer/phone. It has a VE direct port. Victron site is crappy about which display works with which controller.

Thanks! sounds risky. On amazon, I see this comment.
"The firmware that's ships with this product has bugs and after a few days of use, we get a "connection error" and the unit stops working.
There is updated firmware on the Victron website, but it takes a $30 programer and the unique power cable that came with the unit.... Neither we own..."
When you add this, the box, and the cable to it, it get's pricy. Why not sell as a bundle? and individually.
