Phoenix Inverter 12/500 and 12/375

Looking for insight or thoughts

I have 3 setups, 12/1200, 12/500, 12/375 inverters.

Both the 12/375 and 12/500 inverters are showing 4.5A (59W ish) (-46VA) being drawn under no-load conditions in VRM. 12/1200 is showing 0.9A (10W) under no-load (5.6W which was expected based on the data sheet).

Something is amiss here, either the 12/375 and 12/500 are reporting wrong in VRM or there are fundamental design issues with them.

Thoughts please

R

Are you able to measure the actual input current to help tie it down?

The basic setups are:

1 x MPPT. (100/12/24/48)

1 x Smart Shunt (500A)

1 x GX (Venus)

1 x 12/375 and 12/500

Same for the 12/1200 which is working as expected

(No-load) input current is being measured into the inverters, is via SmartShunt and the Phoenix Inverter via VE.Direct into the GX device - VRM.

If you select ECO mode it seems to work as expected, but loads on these units are not enough to start the inverter, so if left in "ON" mode, just drains the batteries

Hope this helps
