how can i use the bmv712 relay to turn off power supply to non-essential loads at a certain SoC using contactors

I use the BMV Relays in this manner quite a bit.

As JohnC has pointed out, the relay is only specified at 1A so you would need to have the BMV Relay control a power relay. For DC Circuits, I use a standard 200A 12V relay (you could use a smaller 30/40A relay if the load is small enough), and for AC Circuits, I use SSRs (Solid State Relay), controlling an AC Fridge based on Temp and also an AC Water Heater based on SOC.
