I can't find it in the manual, but is the Smartshunt battery capacity configured in C20 or C5?

Normal C20, but depends on how you use the system. If you have frequent loads over the C20 figure, then you might need to adjust the capacity down towards C5. That is very extreme, though. Start at C20, adjust if necessary.
