It is approx 60 ft from the batteries to the Pilot House. How can I connect a Smart Shunt to the Cerbo GX when the longest VE Direct cable is only 10 meters (32 ft)?
FYI - This is only tempoary until the LiFePO4 batteries arrive in several months. LiFePo4 batteries will use Lynx Smart BMS and connects to the Cerbo GX via network cables.
VE.Direct to USB cable from the SmartShunt, then a powered USB hub and another USB cable between the USB hub and Cerbo.
This might get you a longer reach, but I haven't tested how long each cable can be.
But why you don't just mount the Cerbo closer to the batteries (and the SmartShunt) instead?
We successfully used 20m USB extension cables and VE.direct to USB a few times.
